Before Contacting Support

To help us resolve your issue faster, please include the following details in your email:

  • App version (from the Google Play Store listing or app settings)

  • Device model (Android phone or tablet)

  • Android OS version

  • Clear description of the issue

  • Steps to reproduce the problem (if available)

  • Screenshots or screen recordings (optional)


Getting Started

Add a Transaction

  1. Tap the “+” button.

  2. Select Expense, Income, or Transfer.

  3. Enter the amount, category, date, and optional notes.

  4. Tap Save.

Edit or Delete a Transaction

  1. Open the Transactions list.

  2. Tap on a transaction.

  3. Edit the details and save, or delete the transaction if needed.

Manage Categories

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Manage Categories.

  3. Add, edit, or remove categories.

View Reports

  1. Open Reports.

  2. Select a month.

  3. View spending summaries by category.

Export Data (CSV)

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Export Transactions.

  3. Choose a location or sharing option for the CSV file.

Change Currency

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Currency.

  3. Select your preferred currency.


Privacy & Data Storage

Money Manager: Expense Tracker works offline and does not require account sign-in.

  • All financial data is stored locally on your device

  • No personal data is uploaded to our servers

  • Using “Clear All Data” in Settings will permanently delete all locally stored data

  • Uninstalling the app will also remove all stored data from your device


Crash & Usage Analytics

To improve app performance and stability, the app uses:

  • Firebase Crashlytics (for crash reports)

  • Firebase Analytics (for anonymous usage insights)

These tools are used only to improve the app experience and are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.


Troubleshooting

If the app is not working properly, try the following:

  • Close and reopen the app

  • Restart your device

  • Update the app to the latest version from Google Play

  • If export fails, try a different save location or sharing method
